Penile Fillers: Everything You Need To Know

Penises come in all shapes and sizes. According to the 2014 British Journal of Urology, a comprehensive study found that the average penis size was approx 13.1cm long with an average circumference of 11.6cm while erect.

But what if you’re unhappy with your measurements?

What Are Penile Fillers?

Penile fillers are injections of dermal filler into your penis, strategically placed to increase your penis size. The most typical dermal filler used in this area is made from hyaluronic acid. 

This substance is chosen because hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that your own body produces. You might have heard of dermal facial fillers being used to reduce the signs of ageing – this is because they provide a fuller, plumper, more youthful look. 

When dermal fillers are injected into the shaft of your penis, the penis becomes instantly thicker. This is thanks to the efficient water-retaining properties of a hyaluronic acid filler. Hyaluronic acid fillers can store up to 1,000 times its own weight in water, which makes it the ideal solution for a small or thin penis. 

Penile fillers result in an increase of girth that looks and feels very natural, whether the penis is flaccid or erect, so you can see why this treatment is very popular with our patients.

For most penile filler treatments, a “deep tissue filler” is used because it lasts longer than other fillers available.

Dr Shirin has been studying the most effective penile treatments for many years and considers hyaluronic acid fillers to offer the best results in terms of quality and duration. But what she has found most successful is when they are combined with the P-shot.

The P-Shot is a pioneering treatment often used to treat erectile dysfunction issues, such as the inability to get or maintain an erection. But it has been proven to also help enhance penis size.

This treatment uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections to repair damaged tissue and promote penile tissue growth. Medical professionals have successfully used PRP treatments to repair damaged muscles and nerves for many years. 

Experts found that when using the same process, PRP injections can successfully combat erectile problems. This is because PRP contains cell-regenerating growth factors. 

The procedure works by drawing a small amount of your blood and then spinning it at a high frequency within a centrifuge. This separates the platelet-rich plasma (PRP). 

Your doctor will then inject the PRP into your penis, and although this might sound uncomfortable, you’ve got nothing to worry about. The whole procedure is done under local anaesthetic, so no pain is experienced.

By combining penile fillers with PRP, you will experience more enhanced results, such as an instantly wider penis with improved blood flow for firmer erections.

Cannula Technique

At Elite Aesthetics, we use the Cannula Technique when administering our penile fillers. It is a more comfortable and efficient alternative to a sharp needle. 

A cannula has a blunt tip and requires fewer entry points. Because it has a blunt tip, there is essentially little bruising compared to the average level of bruising seen in the penis after needle insertion. It is also safer.

Aesthetically, the outcomes are superior too, with less risk of lump and bump formation, which can be linked with needle injection.

Not all fillers are created equal, and at Elite, we only use premium hyaluronic acid fillers to ensure longevity of results. Some clinics will use standard filler, but this technique will require regular top-ups, so could work out more costly and inconvenient over time.
