Overview
Kent’s leading 3D Lipo clinic, with over 10 years experience in body contouring.
3D Liposuction, available at Elite Aesthetics for clients in Dartford, Bexley, Gravesend, Greenhithe, Maidstone and the surrounding areas, is a revolutionary treatment in the world of non-surgical aesthetics, as it provides an easy, painless and quick alternative to traditional liposuction. It uses a combination of five programmes to provide an all-in-one treatment plan, designed to reduce fat as well as reduce the appearance of cellulite and tighten skin, leaving your body looking slimmer, younger and more toned. 3D Lipo has an increasingly popular celebrity following – including Colleen Rooney, Amy Childs, Patsy Kensit, and Danielle Armstrong, and has also been featured on the Lorraine Show on ITV.
For many of us, the perfect body always seems to be out of reach, even when we diet, exercise and live a healthy lifestyle. However, we all naturally carry fat differently in the body – some of us will carry more fat on the torso and back, while others struggle with the appearance of their hips and thighs, and some with their stomach. This is perfectly normal, though it can make certain pockets increasingly difficult to shift through traditional means, especially as we get older and our metabolism slows.
Bodysculpting treatments like 3D Lipo are perfect for conditions like this, when traditional diet and exercise hasn’t quite given you the body you wanted, despite all your hard work. This treatment works to target stubborn pockets of fat by effectively reducing the number of fat cells in a given area of the body. Using 3D Lipo, we can also effectively treat cellulite, a condition that affects almost all women at some point in their lives.
3D Lipo uses five different programmes to target fat cells and smooth and tighten skin, each with different effects to treat common areas of concern on the body. Your 3D Lipo treatment plan incorporates these different programmes to create a treatment that is completely personalised to you and your needs.
Cryolipolysis is usually the first programme in 3D Lipo treatments. Cryolipolysis, or fat freezing, targets fat cells in the body. Fat freezing can also be used as a standalone treatment, but is most effective when incorporated as part of a 3D Lipo treatment plan, where it destroys 20-40% of fat cells in the area. Cryolipolysis works by precisely targeting fat cells and freezing them to minus 6 degrees. This causes the fat cells to freeze and crystallise, increasing the rate of natural cell death. These cells are then are also discarded naturally by the body. As fat cells are more susceptible to cold than skin, muscles and other tissues in the body, cryolipolysis is a safe and effective treatment for completely removing fat cells in the body.
Generally, cryolipolysis is followed by Cavitation, which uses ultrasound waves to break down the fat cells in the localised area. During cavitation, ultrasound waves are calibrated to break down fatty tissues by heating and vibrating the fat cells under the skin. This eventually breaks down the walls of the cells, permanently disabling them and releasing the contents of the cell into the bloodstream. After the cells walls are broken down, the body’s natural lymphatic processes effectively break down and dispose of the fatty acids that have been released. Cavitation is non-intrusive and very safe, as using low-frequency waves means that the treatment is targeted to only break down fat cells, leaving the body’s vital tissues intact. By emptying the fat cells under the skin, the appearance of fat is reduced and the body is left looking slimmer and smoother.
Often with treatments such as traditional liposuction, patients may be left with reduced fat, but also with sagging skin, which can lead to reduced confidence and prevent patients from feeling confident about their new bodies. Radiofrequency treatment promotes tighter and healthier looking skin as part of a 3D Lipo treatment course. The treatment works by selectively heating up the cells in the body by causing water molecules in the deeper layers of skin to vibrate. This creates friction between the molecules, which causes the heating effect. When heat is applied to collagen fibres, they tighten and shrink, which also promotes the growth of new collagen fibres. This increase of collagen cells helps to tighten and improve the elasticity of the skin after fat reducing treatments.
The appearance of cellulite is very common, and is caused by fat cells pushing against the surface of the skin that aren’t being effectively drained by the lymphatic system. 3D Dermology incorporates vacuum and skin rolling to specifically target the appearance of cellulite. By massaging and using vacuum technology on areas with cellulite, circulation in the area is improved, helping to assist lymphatic drainage of fat cells as part of your 3D Lipo treatment plan, and reducing the appearance of cellulite.
Shockwave can be used for a variety of reasons – to treat cellulite, skin tightening and also to improve lymphatic drainage to accelerate the results of other treatments.
The mechanical effects produced can shrink and permeate fat cells. It also softens and strengthens the connective tissue, helping to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Shockwave uses the body’s own ability to repair itself after the trauma of the shockwave, increasing the stimulation of the blood flow, expanding the size of existing blood vessels. This effect encourages new cell growth, creating a much healthier cellular regeneration within the treated area.
By combining these four programmes, 3D Lipo is able to combat pockets of stubborn fat, as well as excess skin and the appearance of cellulite, to create an all-in-one treatment for fat reduction, leaving you with a body that is slim, smooth and ready to show off.

As we age, it becomes more difficult to lose weight, especially for those stubborn-to-shift fat pockets, which only seem to get more stubborn as time goes on. Our metabolism slows as we age, as well as any muscle loss over time becoming harder to regain. We generally also become less active and more stressed as we age, which makes it incredibly difficult to shed the pounds.
However, even younger people and those with a healthy diet and lifestyle have certain areas where they naturally store more fat, which becomes very difficult to get rid of. Depending on your age, body shape, genetics or lifestyle, your body shape will be different from everyone else’s, meaning the areas you struggle with are different from everyone else’s. These areas and fat deposits are some of the best candidates for 3D Lipo treatment.
3D Lipo technology works to permanently remove fat cells from common areas of concern on the body, including the abdomen, flanks, thighs, buttocks and arms, to leave you with a more sculpted, smooth body. 3D Lipo also helps to improve the appearance of cellulite and tighten the skin.
In conjunction with a healthy diet and active lifestyle, the results of 3D Lipo can last for many years.
All the 3D Lipo programmes are non-surgical and non-invasive procedure with immediate, precise and long-lasting results. 3D Lipo treatments are painless, without any down-time, allowing you to continue with day-to-day life immediately, without spending time in recovery. The treatment is painless and many clients watch a film or fall asleep during treatment.
Compared to Laser Lipo, a similar non-surgical fat removal treatment, 3D Lipo is more effective as the fat cells are completely removed without affecting any of the surrounding tissues. This means that results last longer with 3D Lipo, and recovery time is also shorter with 3D Lipo.
Especially when compared to traditional liposuction, which comes with significant downtime, anaesthesia and risk of infection, 3D lipo has very few side effects and is considered a very safe treatment. Some programmes may leave light marks or bruising, but these will usually fade within a few days.
A course of 3D Lipo treatments is also considerably cheaper than the available surgical options. Surgical liposuction typically starts at a cost of around £3000, while 3D Lipo treatments range from £150 to £950, depending on the length of treatment course and needed. The fact that the treatment is tailored to you also means that the pricing is more flexible, and when bought as part of a 3D Lipo package at Elite Aesthetics, you can save up to 25% on your treatment sessions while also getting optimum results.
The 3D-lipo machines offer five different methods of fat reduction and improvement of skin appearance, with bespoke services being offered to suit a person’s individual needs. Each 3D Lipo procedure can be used on their own or combined as a bespoke treatment programme to help achieve excellent body shaping results, destroying fat cells or help to improve the texture, tone and appearance of problem areas. This treatment is perfect for targeting stubborn stomach fat, loose or sagging skin and cellulite.
It can be used on the abdomen, flanks, back, inner and outer thighs and buttocks, as well as on the upper arms and under the neck, around the jawline. Addressing areas of concern often referred to as love handles, saddle bags, muffin tops, turkey neck and bingo wings.
Each course comprises of 6 to 8 weekly sessions. Some clients may need more than one course to get the desired result but this can be discussed during consultation.
Cavitation – 6 to 8 weekly sessions
Fat Freezing – 1 off treatment, can have additional treatment 6 weeks post first treatment.
As with most cosmetic procedures it should not be used in women who are pregnant or breast feeding, or on any areas of skin that are affected by wounds or injury. Those with pacemakers or metal implants within their body may not be suitable for treatment.
A full medical history should be taken before treatment and if you have any concerns about your suitability you should consult a doctor before undergoing any treatment.
Positive results from treatment will be seen after the first session and over the following few months as the body metabolises the destroyed fat cells and new collagen formation occurs to tighten skin. Better results in fat reduction and skin tightening will be seen with each additional treatment. Fat cells will continue to be flushed out of the body, up to 6 months following treatment. There is no reason why the results seen from a 3D-lipo procedure shouldn’t be permanent if the recommended treatment regime is followed. Weight gain or hormonal factors could affect long term results so you are advised to adopt an appropriate diet and lifestyle plan after your treatment programme ends. You will not be required to follow a specific exercise regime during or after your treatment however. You may be advised to have top-up treatments on an annual basis to maintain the results.
Some individuals might experience a little redness, bruising and discomfort in the treatment area, both during and after treatment, as well as possible tingling and numbness. All these minor symptoms will be very short lived, leading to a quick, full recovery. In very rare cases a dent can appear.
As the treatment is non-surgical, the recovery time is much shorter than more invasive fat removal treatments. You should be able to return to your normal activities almost immediately following treatment. Post treatment drink 2 liter’s of water within the first 24 hours and then 1 liter per day following thisNo alcohol 24 hours pre or post treatment.
