Your blood is then drawn and the PRP is extracted. Once it is ready, the doctor will inject it into the desired area. The entire visit will last approximately 60 minutes, and you can then return to your normal day with no downtime.

How The O Shot Works 

Platelet-rich plasma is created by spinning a small amount of your own blood in a centrifuge. The high-speed means that the red blood cells separate from the blood’s platelet-rich plasma, which is lighter. Once they are separated, we can extract that PRP and inject it back into your body in order to stimulate and speed up the healing process. PRP treatments are commonly used to rejuvenate many areas of your body naturally without the risk of any side effects, including intimate areas.

The platelets in your blood are there to repair and regenerate your body’s cells. By concentrating them within one part of the body, cell regeneration can occur much faster and more efficiently.

How to Prepare for Your O Shot 

Since the treatment will involve drawing blood, make sure you’re hydrated and not hungry when you arrive at the clinic. You can leave the clinic shortly after the treatment and go back to work without any downtime – but make sure you wear something comfortable to avoid any unnecessary irritation after the procedure. You may experience a small amount of spotting, so consider bringing a few pads just in case.

Avoid taking any NSAIDs – ibuprofen and aspirin, for instance – in the days leading up to your appointment, as these can thin the blood. Also avoid alcohol and smoking, both of which slow the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
