What is Morpheus 8?

As a subdermal adipose remodelling device (SARD), Morpheus 8 is a cutting-edge new technology that encourages the skin’s natural production of elastin and collagen to lift, shape, and contour.

It is a minimally invasive procedure that combines radio frequency technology with micro-needling. For a smoother, firmer, and younger-looking appearance, Morpheus 8 penetrates deeply into the skin to shape and sculpt the fat and tighten the skin.

The extremely versatile gadget may be programmed to alter the energy supply and penetration depth to customise the therapy to your requirements. The procedure is excellent for treating fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, slack skin, and improving the tone and texture of your skin.

Topical anaesthetic is used during Morpheus 8. Your recovery from Morpheus 8 will depend on the area treated and your general health and welling. There is minimal downtime following treatment. You will have redness and pinprick marks following the treatment. The redness will settle after a few hours and the pin prick marks can remain for a few days after treatment. Try to avoid touching your face for 24 hours to prevent infection and avoid applying make-up for 3 days after.

What areas can be treated?

Morpheus 8 can be used on any area of your body to rejuvenate and tighten your skin. The most popular areas are: face, neck, jowls, lower eye bags, decollete and tummy.

How many treatments of Morpheus 8 will I need?

The number of treatments varies from patient to patient. However, most require 2-3 treatments depending on skin laxity, quality and how your skin responds to the treatment. The treatments can be performed 4-8 weeks apart.

Can Morpheus 8 be used with other treatments?

Morpheus 8 can be used as a standalone treatment in combination with other treatments depending on your concerns. If skin quality and texture is your concern, combining with HydraFacial or Profhilo works really well. If lack of volume is your concern then dermal fillers can be combined for volume replacement.

Is Morpheus 8 painful?

It is slightly uncomfortable but bearable. We apply a very strong numbing cream for an hour before treatment to ensure minimal pain.

How long does the result take to work?

The results of Morpheus 8 first start to show around four weeks after the treatment. However, collagen production continues for 3-4 months after the treatment and so the results continue to improve during that period.

How long do the results last?

The results can last up to 2 years.

Hi, Alex here,Just had my Lichen treatment today with Dr Shirin,The whole team at elite are very friendly, comforting and understanding, and did everything they could to give me a wonderful and welcoming experience. They are all so kind, friendly and knowledgeable, world experts at what they do. I am lucky to have them near London. They are also super responsive on the phone and email, so I know they care about thier patients, and I'm very well taken care of, (as with other clinics I have been to, its often difficult to get them to respond to questions), but this clinic is the most responsive I have ever seen!This is a beautiful and wonderful place and I highly recommend it, and I will be recommending it to all my friends as well. They definitely deserve the super high reviews they are getting, so I'm happy to add another one! A Big thank you from me and my family for all you have done for us during this journey!

Yesterday I had a 'body sculpt' session, to help lymphatic drainage. I was zipped into a suit up to my waist. This massaged and lightly squeezed my feet, ankles, calves, thighs and abdomen. I was breathing oxygen rich air via nasal tubes. It was very relaxing and I slept really well last night. Thank you Elite Aesthetics.
