Jenna’s Story and Her Ultra Femme Treatment
As we age, we naturally lose some tone in all of our muscles due to a lowered production of collagen in the body. Vaginal muscles may also lose tone as part of the ageing process, leading to a higher likelihood of stress incontinence, which can cause significant embarrassment and discomfort for sufferers. This is especially common among post-menopausal and post-natal women, and can be very significant and life-altering.
Many women also consider vaginal tightening after having children. During natural childbirth, the vaginal muscles expand to form the birth canal for your baby. After several children, or sometimes after having a large baby or a difficult delivery, your vaginal muscles can be left looser and weak and the surrounding tissues may be stretched and torn. Even after traditional treatments for the reduction of incontinence, such as pelvic floor exercises, the condition of your vaginal muscles and pelvic floor may not always improve.
Ultra Femme 360 can also be used as a sexual rejuvenation treatment. During the menopause, the production of oestrogen in the body drops significantly, creating a variety of changes in the body, including what is known as genitourinary symptoms of menopause, or GSM, which affects over half of menopausal and post menopausal women. GSM can bring about vaginal dryness, itching, a lowered libido, loss of sensitivity in the vagina and surrounding tissues, dyspareunia (pain during sex), an increase in the frequency and urgency of urination and a higher susceptibility to urinary tract infections, among other symptoms. Women with GSM can experience significant sexual dysfunction that impacts on their close relationships, but many women are often too embarrassed to seek treatment. GSM is also significantly under-diagnosed by many healthcare professionals, something that we at Elite Aesthetics are passionate about casting a light on.
The loss of sensitivity and other issues including vaginal laxity, brought on by GSM can affect sexual satisfaction for both you and your partner. Using Ultra Femme 360, the tissues in the vagina are activated and tightened, leading to a more pleasurable sexual experience for both partners.
The Ultra Femme 360 device works by inserting a disposable tip into the vaginal canal, where the tip is moved along the whole length of the vaginal canal towards the cervix and back towards the opening. A small band at the end of the device emits radiofrequency waves throughout the length of the vaginal canal. These waves penetrate deeply into the tissues in the vagina and gently elevate the temperature of the cells to over 40°C to help promote and boost the natural process of new collagen growth. It also helps to significantly increase blood flow and circulation in the area.

Ultra Femme 360 is an incredible treatment because it is completely non-surgical and absolutely painless. Some patients report feeling a pleasant warmth, much like a hot stone massage as the treatment wand is moved back and forth, but this isn’t an uncomfortable sensation. Otherwise, there is no pain to Ultra Femme 360, which is one of the reasons we are so passionate about this technology at Elite Aesthetics to improve the lives of our female patients.
Ultra Femme 360 is a remarkably quick treatment, so even for those of us with busy schedules, the incredible results this treatment can have aren’t unattainable. We only ever carry out Ultra Femme 360 treatment after a full, in-person consultation process with Dr. Shirin, to assess your suitability for Ultra Femme 360, understand what your concerns are and how your life can be improved with our treatments. She will also go through your medical history and general health, while also giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you have about the treatment process.
On the day of your treatment, you’ll be welcomed by our team and the treatment will begin. All of our Ultra Femme 360 treatments will be carried out by Dr. Shirin to ensure your safety and comfort. The internal and external treatments can be carried out separately, but most patients choose to have them at the same time. Treatment time for both internal and external areas is less than half an hour.
There is no downtime after treatment, and you can go about your day as you would normally. All we ask is that you avoid sexual intercourse for around a week post-treatment, to avoid disrupting the tissue regeneration in the area. You’ll often be able to feel results from the treatment immediately, and these will continue to improve over time.
During your initial consultation session, Dr. Shirin will create an individual treatment plan for you, based on your condition and needs to establish how many treatments you will need. However, the most commonly recommended number of treatments advised by Dr. Shirin is three sessions, scheduled once per week. You’ll see optimum results around four weeks after your final treatment, when Dr. Shirin may recommend top-up treatments every six months or so.
We prececde all of our Ultra Femme 360 treatments with a full consultation with Dr. Shirin. She will use this time to get to know you, your condition and your needs, as well as an understanding of your medical history. During this consultation, Dr. Shirin will also tailor an individual treatment plan for you based on your needs and her expert opinion. Generally, the recommended number of treatments advised is three sessions, scheduled once a week. There is also the option to have three sessions over the course of two weeks.
On the day of your treatment you will be welcomed by our friendly clinic staff, and are welcome to bring a friend or family member to support you if you wish. Please call and postpone your treatment if you are on your period.
Dr. Shirin will apply a gel to the skin around the vagina, and then using a disposable tip, will gently insert the device into the vaginal canal. Custom tips for the Ultra Femme device are also available for increased patient comfort. During the internal treatment, the device will be moved back and forth throughout the length of the vaginal canal. The tip of the device creates radiofrequency waves which penetrate the deep layers of tissue within the vagina. This will gently heat the cells in the area, triggering the production of collagen that leads to the strengthening and tightening of the vaginal muscles and creating a tighter vaginal opening and vaginal canal.
The internal and external treatments can be carried out in separate sessions, but most patients opt to have them at the same time. Throughout the external part of the treatment, radiofrequency energy is delivered in pulses as the hand-piece is moved across the area, plumping and tightening the area, including the labia, to improve its appearance. There is no pain or irritation during the internal or external procedures, only a pleasant warming sensation which some patients compare to a hot stone massage. Treatment time is very short, and usually takes around 30 minutes for both internal and external areas.
The Ultra Femme 360 procedure is FDA approved and meets strict safety standards. It contains a built-in Energy Flow Control system, which helps to provide safe, uniform heating during the therapy. This means that the treatment can be carried out without any discomfort for our clients, while allowing the optimal amount of radiofrequency energy to reach the target tissue. Due to being able to gently heat the tissue at lower temperatures when compared to other treatments using ablative lasers, the treatment carries no risk of infection or discharge after treatment.
Following the treatment, you may notice a very mild redness and swelling in the treatment area, though this usually disappears within a few hours. You can easily have the treatment during your lunch break and return to your daily activities immediately, though we do recommend refraining from intercourse for one week after the treatment.
Results can usually be seen and felt immediately post treatment, though results will continue to improve over the course of your treatment plan and afterwards, with the optimum results generally being achieved around four weeks after your final treatment, as the collagen continues to rebuild. Depending on your condition, Dr. Shirin may recommend that you arrange maintenance treatments every six months.
Compared to traditional surgical labiaplasty and vaginoplasty, the Ultra Femme 360 is also much more affordable. Ultra Femme 360 is £1650for 3 treatments, and a payment plan is available for any maintenance treatments, should you require them.
