5 Nose Problems Non Surgical Nose Jobs Can Fix
Non surgical nose jobs are fast becoming a popular aesthetic procedure all around the world, with celebrities such as Gabbie Hanna openly embracing what they have to offer.
Not only do non surgical nose jobs provide a quick, comfortable and long-lasting solution – but they solve many of the most common nose problems without going under the knife! No slicing, chiselling or black eyes required!
Using dermal fillers – similar to those used in anti-ageing treatments – we can adjust the shape of your nose, resolving any concerns you might have and giving you a more aesthetically pleasing look.
It’s quick, non-invasive and has minimal recovery time too.
So what problems can you solve with non surgical nose jobs?
1 – Bump On Your Nose
A bump on your nose, also known as a dorsal hump, is a very common problem. For some people, it can be genetic – either apparent from childhood or developing naturally as the nose changes through puberty. For others, it can develop as a result of an accident or surgery.
Non surgical nose jobs can straighten out a bumpy nose, disguising the hump and giving you an aesthetically pleasing, straight profile. Your aesthetic doctor will carefully insert the filler into your nose around the bump, filling just the right places to give you that perfectly straight appearance.
2 – Crooked Or Wonky Nose
Research shows that symmetry is an important part of what makes people’s faces look attractive – if your nose is wonky then it can have a big impact on your appearance and even your self-confidence.
While a crooked nose can be present from birth, for most people it is the result of an injury, infection or surgical procedure.
Non surgical nose jobs can help to even out the appearance of your nose, giving you a symmetrical and more aesthetically pleasing look without going under the knife. By precisely filling certain areas of your nose, your aesthetic doctor will create a straight nose, bringing balance to your face.
3 – Wide Nose
What about a wide nose? Surely you can’t make a wide nose smaller without going under the knife? While that is technically correct – we can’t physically reduce the width of your nose – we can create the illusion of a thinner, slimmer nose.
Using fillers, your aesthetic doctor can adjust the proportions of your nose, creating a more defined tip or balancing out the appearance of your nose. Non surgical nose jobs for wide noses require significant skill, but when you choose a doctor that has the right experience, you can get some really astonishing results.
4 – Ski Jump Nose
Some noses have a proportional bridge and tip, but the tissue in between can be lacking, creating a “ski jump” appearance. While some people quite like this look, others find it displeasing.
The good news is that a “ski jump” nose is very easy to resolve with non surgical nose jobs. Using dermal fillers to fill the area between the tip and bridge, we can create a straight profile and reduce the “ski jump” appearance of your nose.
5 – Hooked Nose
Hooked noses are very common in the UK – most likely thanks to our Roman heritage! But if your hooked nose is causing you distress, non surgical nose jobs could offer the solution.
Most people with hooked noses inherited this look from their ancestors, however, it can occasionally be the result of injury instead.
Non surgical nose jobs can “lift” the tip of a hooked nose or fill the bridge, helping to even out the appearance of your nose and giving you a straight, aesthetically pleasing look. Your aesthetic doctor will strategically inject filler into specific areas of your nose, to create the results you want to achieve.
Sounds Great! But What’s Really Involved?
Non surgical nose jobs use dermal fillers to change the shape of your nose, evening out any imbalances and giving the appearance of a straighter, smoother or smaller nose.
The procedure itself is usually a comfortable experience – with none of the pain, physical trauma or disruption of surgical rhinoplasty.
During the procedure, your aesthetic doctor applies a local anaesthetic to the areas in which they are going to inject the filler. Some fillers, such as the ones we use here at Elite Aesthetics, also contain a local anaesthetic too. This helps to numb the area and make the procedure pain-free.
As the needle is carefully inserted into your nose you might feel a mild pinching, followed by a strong pressure sensation as the filler is injected.
Non surgical nose jobs are very quick to complete – taking between 15-30 minutes for most procedures. There’s no need for a general anaesthetic and you won’t have to take any time off work to recover. Making it an ideal solution for those of you with busy schedules.
The results usually last around 18 months, and unlike surgical rhinoplasty, they can even be reversed if you decide you prefer the look of your old nose.
