Can NewGyn Improve Your Vaginal Health?
The female body encounters some truly incredible changes over the years. Many of them are wonderful and welcome, such as having children. However, some can negatively impact your life, such as fluctuating hormones and the physical changes your body undergoes after childbirth.
As you age, hormone fluctuations can result in unwelcome changes to the most intimate area of your body, your vagina.
Women might experience dryness, discomfort and a noticeable loss of elasticity. These symptoms are common amongst post-menopausal women and are also associated with a condition called vulvovaginal atrophy.
This is when your vaginal walls experience thinning, drying and inflammation. It often occurs when your body has less oestrogen, such as after menopause. This condition can make sexual intercourse painful and can lead to distressing urinary symptoms, too.
Whilst this condition is relatively common amongst women – many choose not to visit their GP, instead opting to live with symptoms. This can have a serious impact on their quality of life, self-esteem and confidence.
The good news is that some fantastic non-invasive treatments really work. They can reduce common symptoms of vulvovaginal atrophy and help women to regain their confidence.
NewGyn is one of them.
NewGyn addresses many vaginal concerns and promotes overall vaginal health with an injectable treatment designed for feminine rejuvenation.
What Is NewGyn and How Does it Work?
NewGyn is an injectable gel treatment for promoting vaginal health and rejuvenation.
It uses a combination of polynucleotides (PN-HPT®), hyaluronic acid and mannitol, all designed specifically to improve damaged and degraded skin with a loss of elasticity in the female intimate area.
NewGyn was developed by Italian manufacturer Mastelli, who has more than 70 years of experience in the research and development of polynucleotides.
The treatment works by regenerating fibroblasts, helping to repair damage, maintain structure and reduce sagging.
The use of hyaluronic acid also moisturises the area to reduce dryness and discomfort. This, combined with the mannitol, a water-binding agent, prolongs the effectiveness of hyaluronic acid.

NewGyn Rejuvenation Treatment Process
Once you have decided to find out more about NewGyn rejuvenation treatment, you will be invited to an in-depth consultation.
Consultation:
Before undergoing the vulva rejuvenation treatment, we always schedule a thorough consultation to ensure that your doctor understands all of your concerns and desired outcomes. This consultation is essential to discuss the best treatment approach for your individual needs. Once we have gathered all of this information and designed your customised treatment plan, you will be invited to book your treatment.
Treatment Day:
On the day of your first treatment, you will be settled into a private treatment room for the following 3 step procedure:
Step 1 – Local anaesthesia: a topical anaesthetic cream will be applied approximately 30 minutes before the treatment. This will minimise any potential discomfort.
Step 2 – Preparation: Once the anaesthetic cream has taken effect your treatment area will be thoroughly cleansed to ensure optimum hygiene.
Step 3 – Injection process: Once the treatment commences, small injections of the treatment solution will be made precisely in all the targeted areas on the vulva.
The entire treatment should last approximately 10 minutes.
In terms of recovery time, you can go about your day normally post-treatment, although many women find relaxing for a few hours more beneficial. You might experience some minor side effects at the injection sites, such as small marks, swelling, or bruising, but these are only temporary and typically subside within a day or so.
You are advised to avoid sexual intercourse for a minimum of 48 hours, and most patients will need to undergo a course of treatments to get optimal results.
For most patients, the best results tend to appear after 3 – 5 treatments administered at 3-week intervals.
You are also recommended to have maintenance treatments every 6 months to a year, as these can help prolong your results.
