Before Your Desirial Treatment

Before your labial puff treatment, you should avoid blood thinners like aspirin or Ibuprofen as well as natural blood thinners such as fish oil, multivitamins or high doses of vitamin C 3 days beforehand, as they can increase the risk of bruising after the treatment.

During Your Desirial Treatment

During your treatment, Dr Shirin will make sure you’re comfortable throughout. A combination of topical creams and local anaesthetic injections will be used to totally numb the areas that the dermal filler will be injected into.

Using a tiny needle the Desirial is injected into the areas of your labia and vagina required to help alleviate your symptoms and rejuvenate your vagina.

The entire treatment process usually takes around 20 minutes and you don’t need to allow any recovery time, so you can get back to your normal schedule the very same day.

After Your Desirial Treatment

After your labial puff treatment, you might notice some slight sensitivity, mild swelling or bruising. This is totally normal and will resolve naturally in a few days.

You will need to avoid sexual intercourse and any activities that place strong pressure on your labia, such as horse riding or cycling, for 5 days following treatment.

You’ll see some results immediately with the full benefits occurring after 4-6 weeks as your body builds more collagen. Over time, your body will naturally break down the filler and you will need to have a repeat treatment if you want the benefits to continue, but most people find the benefits last on average 12 months.

Are There Any Side Effects?

Most people find their labial puff treatment to be a good experience with no side effects. Some people might notice light bruising, extra sensitivity and mild swelling at the injection sites but these generally disappear in a short period of time.

How Quickly Will I Notice Results From My Labial Puff Treatment?

Results will be noticeable immediately following the treatment, with continued improvement in the weeks to follow, as your body rebuilds new collagen and elastin cells. Most people require a single treatment session to get the desired results, making it a very affordable and convenient solution. 

How Long Do The Results Last?

The results from your labial puff treatment will usually last for around 6-24 months depending on your individual body and the problems you were experiencing. The treatment can be repeated as and when required to help prolong the results.

When Can I Have Sex After Desirial Treatment? 

We advise you to avoid sex for 5 days following your labial puff treatment, to give your body time to adjust. You can then resume your normal sexual activity.
