Overview
Erectile Dysfunction – having difficulty maintaining an erection? Concerned it may affect your relationship? Unsure of what treatment is best for you?
Erectile dysfunction, or ED, is the most common sex problem that men report to their doctor. It is a common problem experienced to some degree by almost half of the UK’s male population aged between 40 and 70, although for some it starts much earlier in life.
ED is defined as “trouble getting or keeping an erection that’s firm enough for sex”.
Though it’s not rare for a man to have some problems with erections from time to time, ED that is progressive or happens routinely with sex is not normal, and it should be treated. As men age, they may naturally find it more difficult to maintain an erection. There are many causes, which will discuss later.
As portrayed in movies, you believe that men can achieve an erection anywhere at any time. The fact is all men need two things to get everything working down there: intimacy, and time.
Did you know that for a penis to become erect, it requires approximately 130 millilitres of blood?
During arousal, your nerves release chemicals that increase blood flow into the penis. Blood flows into two chambers in the penis, made of spongy muscle tissue. An erection is formed when the chambers have filled.
A second set of nerve signals reach the penis and cause the muscular tissues in the penis to contract once orgasm is achieved. The blood is then released back into a man’s circulation and the erection comes down.
The penis is soft and limp when you are not aroused. You may notice that the size of the penis varies with warmth, cold or worry – this is perfectly normal.
Unfortunately, there’s a lot that can get in the way of that blood reaching a man’s penis, such including:
Some emotional issues that can cause ED are:
There are other common issues related to erections including:
When ED becomes a frequent and troubling problem, your doctor can help.
ED can cause many side effects including:
If ED is affecting a man’s well-being or his relationships, it should be treated. Treatment aims to fix or enhance erectile function, help circulatory health and help the quality of a man’s life.
For some men with ED, specialised testing is available to guide treatment, these include:
Fortunately there’s a lot that men can do with regard to their lifestyle to protect their ability to have an erection.
Some considerations include only have sex only when they wish to do so, creating the right conditions for sex. Quitting smoking, increase their levels of daily exercise and controlling body weight. Creating an environment free from stress.
There are a wide variety of treatments for ED.
Non-invasive treatments are often tried first as they are the lowest risk. Most of the best-known treatments for ED work well and are safe. Oral drugs or pills known as phosphodiesterase type-5 inhibitors are most often prescribed in the U.S. for ED (Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, Stendra)
In general the treatments are not painful, although they can have unintended side effects. For example, Penile Injections for erections will cause the erection to maintain after climax.
The Vacuum Pump combined with the Priapus Shot have seen good results, allowing men to regain erections naturally.
If you’re considering a treatment for Erectile Dysfunction, the Priapus Shot then you probably want to know how much they cost?
Surgery is often expensive, but non-surgical aesthetic alternatives are usually much more affordable! Drugs and Injections have their place, however, being able to have erections naturally is preferred.
When completed by a professional, qualified and experienced doctor, your Priapus Shot treatment should only cost somewhere between £1200 and £1500.
Most typically only need one single treatment and the results should last you between 6-12 months, making them not only safe and effective – but very affordable too.
Like other similar treatments, there are some small risks involved with this treatment – but when performed by a professional and qualified doctor they are usually a safe, minimally-invasive treatment.
You might notice some minor, localised swelling immediately after the treatment but this usually resolves within 24-48 hours.
It’s always important to choose a reputable doctor, no matter what kind of treatment you’re having – but even more so with a Priapus Shot!
It’s essential that the doctor that’s treating you is professionally trained and knowledgeable if you want to get good results. They must be using a high quality centrifuge like the Magellan centrifuge.
Unfortunately, the aesthetic industry is not nearly regulated enough. Clinics are required to be registered with the CQC if they wish to offer medical treatments. The doctor must be trained, qualified or insured to perform this type of treatment, however, there are clinics offering this treatment without the reassurance of CQC registration! Because of this it’s very important that you research and choose a doctor that you know to be qualified, skilled and safe.

Sometimes premature ejaculation is a problem for men who have erection problems (erectile dysfunction or ED). Since an erection usually goes away after an ejaculation, it can be tough to know if the problem is PE or ED. ED should be treated first. Premature ejaculation may not be a problem once the ED is treated.
In many cases, yes, erectile dysfunction can be reversed. A study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine found a remission rate of 29 percent after 5 years. It is important to note that even when ED cannot be cured, the right treatment can reduce or eliminate symptoms.
Erectile dysfunction can lead to relationship problems. … Though this obviously affects their sex life, it can also carry over into the rest of their relationship. In many cases involving women and ED, the man is ashamed to talk about it or go for help and instead pulls away from his partner. However, more men are now willing to treat their ED.
There are a large number of drugs available to treat ED.
They all tent to work in similar ways, each oral medication has a slightly different chemical makeup and therefore minor differences in how each medication works. Factors include: how quickly it takes effect and wears off, and the potential side effects. All medications should be discussed with your doctor. At Elite Aesthetics, we believe in trying to fix the root cause of ED through the use of stem cells to re-build muscle, nerves and blood vessels (Priapus Shot). However, here is some information on the drugs available.
Please consult your doctor before taking any medication.
Erectile dysfunction can also be linked to other conditions common in men with diabetes, such as high blood pressure and heart disease. Erectile dysfunction might occur earlier in men with diabetes than in men without the disease. Difficulty maintaining an erection might even precede the diabetes diagnosis.

Please see the following information on the NHS website for Erectile Dysfunction Treatments.
Vacuum pumps encourage blood to flow to the penis, causing an erection and we recommend using them for a period after the P-Shot Treatment. They work for most men and can be used if medicine is not suitable.

Had a consultation with Elite yesterday, I must say I was a bit nervous, but Charlotte was so friendly and helpful.
I was given lots of advice and was given products that were within my budget.
I was able to pick the products up with an hour, all the safety restrictions where in place and worked very well.
I was very excited to use my new skin care products.
And I was not disappointed, they were amazing and my skin felt amazing too.
I was 100% satisfied with the service I received from the moment I called Elite, every member of staff was friendly and professional.
I am looking forward to attending the clinic to have some treatments very soon.
Thank you ladies for all your help and for making me feel at ease and confident with the viviscal professional products I purchased.
Elite is an outstanding professional clinic with high standard treatments. All the staff members are friendly and offer you honest opinions when it comes to products and treatments. This is a welcoming clinic that I can 100% recommend. Treatments are spoken through and explained in detail, also aftercare. Confidential pictures are taken to review progress which is great. I have been going nearly a year now and am happy with all the treatments I’ve had, wouldn't go anywhere else. (Dermal Fillers Bromley)

Welcoming, reassuring, friendly, professional, high tech. I shall be back for more. I love the results of the Thread Lift I had.
Great clinic, lovely, clean and modern. Charlotte was excellent, knowledgeable about the treatment whilst also friendly. The facial itself was very enjoyable and my skin looks and feels tighter and smoother. I highly recommend the Hydrafacial Treatment.
