How to Protect your Skin Indoors
Summer is just around the corner and while the Coronavirus maybe sheltering us from the outside world, once all this is over you’re going to want to step out into the world looking and feeling your best which is why it’s about time you gave your face the best treatment there is… step forward the HydraFacial!
Looking After Your Skin Indoors
While all that summer outdoor time is lovely, we might also have to spend some time indoors so, how do you look after your skin inside?
Moisturise!
Make sure you’re moisturising your hands and face regularly. Top tip: always moisturise after washing your hands while they’re still a bit damp, this way the moisture is trapped in your skin better. Indoor air can be dry, which is why it’s important to use products and treatments like the HydraFacial with hydrating ingredients such as hyaluronic acid in them to promote moisture and keep your skin looking its best.
SPF products are just as important indoors
Just because you’re indoors it doesn’t mean the sun’s rays can’t impact on you. UVA light can penetrate through window glass meaning you’re still at risk for photoageing and sun damage. Be sure to apply a mineral-based SPF product to make sure the sun’s rays cannot harm your skin.
Try not to use your phone too much
Phones, tablets and computers all emit blue light, also known as high energy visible light, that have been shown to have a harmful impact on the skin, so even if you’re stuck for things to do, make sure you’re taking a break from looking at screens!
