There are many similarities between Profhilo and Sunekos, however in our experience, Sunekos is typically better suited for skin that has more advanced indications of ageing. This is based on the fact that Profhilo is primarily intended for younger skin.
Both of these procedures are new kinds of injectable therapies that are entirely distinct from skin boosters, mesotherapy, and dermal fillers; they cause a process in the skin known as bio-remodeling.
The Profhilo product has high concentrations of hyaluronic acid (HA), which profoundly hydrates the treated tissue and helps with the indications of ageing skin and sagging skin by stimulating your body’s natural synthesis of collagen and elastin. The practitioners at the Clinics employ Profhilo to revitalise the skin, giving the skin back its firmness and smoothness, and restore the skin’s “glow.”
Only the neck or the middle to lower part of the face can be treated with Profhilo; the treatment may be made more successful by following the Profhilo protocol, which is also the only way to treat those particular parts of the face and neck.
In most cases, a single treatment with Profhilo will consist of two distinct sessions that are around thirty days apart from one another. If a person’s indicators of ageing are more advanced, they may need to attend a third session; this is something that may be discussed throughout the evaluation process. In most cases, a second round of Profhilo therapy is necessary after a period of six months in order to sustain the desired outcomes.
The SuneKos product has both HA and potent amino acids within its composition. Proteins, such as amino acids, contribute to the tightening and strengthening of the skin, while hyaluronic acid works to deeply hydrate the treated tissue. The production of new collagen and elastin is brought about as a direct result of SuneKos’s ability to promote fibroblast activity in the Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM).
Sunekos is the product that the practitioner at the Clinic like to use in order to revive, firm, and smooth the skin, as well as restore the skin’s “glow” in patients who have more advanced indications of skin ageing.
As well as the middle and the sides of the face, the forehead and the area around the eyes can be treated with SuneKos for the indications of ageing that come with age. SuneKos is able to address a variety of issues that occur around the mouth, such as lines that appear above the upper lip, and it may also be used to provide volume to the tissue. SuneKos comes in two different strengths of the product: SuneKos ‘200’ has a low molecular weight and can be used around the eyes and on the forehead; SuneKos ‘1200’ has a medium molecular weight and is used in the centre of the face as well as the peripheral areas of the face; and SuneKos ‘400’ has a high molecular weight and is used in the middle of the face as well as the peripheral areas
A course of therapy with SuneKos typically consists of four sessions, each of which is carried out seven to 10 days apart from the previous one. If desired, the SuneKos therapy can be administered once again after about eight to nine months in order to keep the results.
Even while both Profhilo and SuneKos are available to anybody who wants them, in our view and based on our years of expertise, Profhilo is best suited for those whose indications of skin ageing are comparable to those of someone who is forty years old or younger. Sunekos is typically more appropriate for somewhat more difficult skin conditions, such as sun damage and crepiness.
